About TDA

Our goal is to create a fun, yet structured environment where dancers will learn proper dance techniques and skills.  We also want to instill self confidence and creativity in our dancers, which will stay with them for a lifetime.

TDA owner and instructor, Stacia McSpedden, has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Texas Tech University.  Her mother was a dance studio owner and she grew up taking lessons from her mother, attending dance conventions and dancing in the San Angelo Civic Ballet's production of The Nutcracker for numerous years. In high school, she was a three year member of the Tex-Anns Drill Team and served as an officer for two years.  In college, she danced with Texas Tech Dance Division while pursuing her dance degree. She was also a two-time finalist for the Dallas Cowboy's Cheerleaders.  She has her Personal Trainer Certification from the Cooper Institute and was an ACE Certified Fitness Instructor for over twenty years.  She has been a "pro" dancer with Dancing With the Stars San Angelo, going on eight years. She continues to grow and learn as a dance instructor and dancer through online courses. 

 All TDA instructors have extensive dance backgrounds and dance training and are also, wonderful dancers.  TDA classes are fun, yet structured, so that learning is maximized according to age.
